Privacy
The first reason that privacy is important is because of its functional benefits. This area has been especially slippery for policy -makers because they have often use the term PRIVACY to refer to one or more of privacy's benefits.
Security
Protecting important data, confidential information, networks, software, equipment, facilities, company's assets, and security staff should do some level of cost-benefit analysis to ensure that the resources expended on training do not exceed the benefit
Legal
The law is important for a society for it serves as a norm of conduct for citizens. It was also made to provide for proper guidelines and order upon the behaviour for all citizens and to sustain the equity on the three branches of the government. It keeps the society running. Without law there would be survival of the fittest and everyman for himself. Not an ideal lifestyle for most part.
Green Computing
Green computing refers to environmentally sustainable computing. It minimize the use of electricity as well as energy and reduce the environment dissipate when we are using a computer. The green computing has the same goals with green chemistry, which is longer the life time of the product and makes the product more efficiency of energy, advance the discarded product and factory waste to be more easily recycled and biodegradable, use of the less-hazardous materials.
